| After 11 years on KNON our friend Ginger
has returned to Ohio to care for her mother. We miss Ginger and thank her for
more than a decade of great Blues Radio. Ginger returns
to sub for other DJ's on occasion so be sure to listen. |

The good news is that our Ace #1 sub Sonny Boy
Mark will now host Texas Blues Radio on Tuesday. Mark
has been doing great fill-in spots since 1998 and now we get to enjoy his
program every week. Give Mark a call next Tuesday to welcome him to
his new timeslot. |

We had a goodbye party for Ginger at Pearl on August 30th. Great music
by Jackie Don Loe, J.J. & the Detonators featuring Big George Brock, and
Texas Slim and the Love Machine. Great Chili and food by Chapman Chile
Kitchen. Blue Lisa and Gregg Smith MC'd the show (so all of the KNON
Blues DJs were in the house) and, best of all, we got to party with a club
full of great KNON Blues listeners! Many thanks to the good folks at
Pearl and everyone that made this event a night to remember. |

Blues Crew at the Dallas Guitar Show

| Saturday morning at the
Dallas Guitar Show was an all-blues Blues event. Big Daddy Hal
(and son Jackson), Mark, Ginger, and JMAC staffed the booth. We sold a lot of T-shirts and KNON CDs and got to talk to a lot
of listeners, both local and those that listen on the web. We gave
away stacks of our hot-off-the-press
Texas Blues Radio stickers to visitors. You'll be seeing them
on the guitar and equipment cases of tasteful musicians everywhere before
too long. Many thanks to everyone that stopped to say hello! |
